Experience a global environment in Hakone this summer through tournaments and camps.
This is a program of international open fencing tournaments and training camps that began in 2024.
The program offers valuable insights for athletes aiming to compete on the global stage in the future.
In 2024, more than 300 fencers took part in this international initiative.
We encourage you to take on your next challenge by joining this program.
Even beginners can take part.
Beginners can participate in both the camp and the competitions.
During the camp, coaches and assistants provide instruction tailored to each player’s skill level, so anyone can join.
There’s no need to worry about your current level of experience.
More than just fencing.
To enhance fencing performance, physical training is indispensable.
This camp provides a comprehensive program that includes both fencing and physical conditioning, helping participants develop skills valuable for future success.
An opportunity for international exchange
It’s not just about the matches—spending time together during the camp provides many opportunities for interaction.
By building friendships with athletes from other countries in the same age group, you’ll enrich your fencing journey for the future.
This is a rare opportunity to experience something like an overseas training camp, right here in Japan.
Expert-level, personalized instruction
The camp will be led by coaches who are former members of the Japanese national team, as well as current active athletes.
This is a rare and invaluable opportunity to receive hands-on coaching at a professional level.
A chance to compete with guest players is also included.
The camp invites top-level athletes as guest players.
By sparring with these elite fencers, participants can look forward to engaging in high-quality training sessions.
You can also participate alone
At the camp, the staff focuses on fostering independence and teamwork, offering support for both the athletic and daily aspects of the experience.
You can be assured that your child will be well taken care of, even if participating on their own.

While we take the utmost care to ensure the safety and hygiene of our facilities and programs, if your child becomes injured or ill, we will promptly coordinate with local medical providers and offer necessary support.
In the event of a natural disaster or emergency that requires evacuation, we will guide the children to designated evacuation areas as directed by local authorities.
We kindly ask all participants to provide emergency contact information that can be reached on the day of the event.
This training camp offers a wonderful opportunity to experience living independently from family in a group setting.
With a focus on independence and teamwork, our staff will support the group in naturally building strong bonds.
The friendships formed at this camp are sure to become lifelong memories.
If a participant feels unwell or is injured during the camp, we will take them to the nearest hospital or clinic for medical attention. In more serious situations, we will contact emergency services as necessary.
If the participant is diagnosed with influenza or another contagious illness, or if it is determined that they are unable to continue participating in the camp, they will either be isolated or asked to return home. In such cases, parents or guardians will be contacted, and transportation costs will be the responsibility of the family.
For minor injuries or common sports-related issues, the camp’s physical therapist will provide on-site care.
Except for some of the accommodations, there are no laundry facilities available at the accommodation or training venues. However, we provide A2Care (MA-T Disinfection and Deodorizing Spray) at the venue for disinfecting items such as uniforms. If you wish to use it, please feel free to do so.
We recommend bringing enough changes of clothing, including T-shirts, jerseys, socks, and underwear, for the duration of the camp.
